New RFR Data Dashboard on FDA.gov

 February 8, 2022

By  Rachel Montgomery

Helpful for FSVP and Supply Chain Preventive Controls

Importers with an FSVP for Foreign Suppliers and Manufacturers with a Supply Chain control, may be familiar with the FDA Data Dashboard available on FDA.gov under Food and FSMA, Compliance and Implementation Tools.  The dashboard, that includes data on inspections, compliance actions, recalls, and imports, is useful to help evaluate suppliers’ compliance history, as required for evaluation and approval of suppliers.

FDA has now provided additional Dashboards for our use in evaluating hazards associated with food commodities.  One of them is the RFR Data Dashboard, which includes data input into the Reportable Food Registry (RFR) and allows sorting by commodity and hazard over time.  The RFR dashboard, as well as the other dashboards can be found on the FDA website under FDA-TRACK.
